We want to hear from you! We are interested in the nature and extent of horse movements in Ontario. We are conducting monthly questionnaires (requiring less than 10 minutes of your time) between the months of May 2015 and November 2015 and are interested in where you travel with your horse. All owners, trainers, and disciplines welcome!
Our study is currently underway. If you are interested in participating or learning more about the study, please contact Kelsey Spence at kspenc04 (at) uoguelph (dot) ca.
We hope that your participation in the study may help to:
1. Improve our ability to quickly detect and control potential outbreaks of equine disease in Ontario.
2. Minimize the economic and emotional impact that equine disease can have on the equine industry and Ontario farm families.
This study has been reviewed and has received clearance through the University of Guelph Research Ethics Board (REB #15FE013).
